Looks like Nikita Khrushchev, of the United Nations pounding his shoe on the counter fame, was right. He said the communists would bury the United States from within. I was reminded of this the other day when I read a column by Bill O’Reilly about communists. You can read that article here. O’Reilly discusses how communists are openly celebrating and getting elected in the United States. I’m old enough to remember the horror stories and atrocities committed by Russian and Chinese Communists that would make a NAZI blush. O’Reilly makes a good point that many of the people who celebrate these “socialists”, AKA communists, are immigrants who are entitled and want free stuff, not caring about the consequences. The collective IQ of the United States, in my humble opinion is probably under water, based on the actions of votes as of late. Many in our country need a crash course in world history to understand the consequences of living in a totalitarian communist country (Think North Korea).
I posted a comment on another platform the other day about the need for people to wake up and realize it’s time to get vocal and hold our elected officials accountable and demand transparency. Several replies said that people are already aware and aware. I now realize that we have a bigger problem. If people really thing that folks are fired up and mobilized for get the right people elected, we are doomed. The apathy on the right is an embarrassment. I attend local and state meetings on a regular basis and attendance is slim at best. Too many of us are comfortable and removed from the threat that is looming on the horizon. It’s time to say we won’t take it any more!
