I was hoping the Minneapolis Police Chief would stand up to his corrupt mayor and refuse the mayor’s order to not cooperate with federal officials. Ironically the cowardly police chief went even farther. Once you surrender and are on your knees as a leader, you will never get back up. The Minneapolis Police Department has great men and women serving and trying to do the right thing but they have crooked politicians and scared police administrators throwing them under the bus.
There is absolutely no excuse for this. Having been a police chief in Minnesota, that statutes do protect police chiefs to some degree from political interference. If you can’t stand on your beliefs and principle then you should not be a police chief.
