Bill’s weekend column discusses the state of affairs in the US as it pertains to terrorism. Every conservative should be sharing this column with as many people as possible. Do we want to risk woke people running our government? The kind of people that want to stop us from using the word “terrorism?” Do you really think these woke folk will be vigilant against another 9/11? It is clear with the release of previously sealed 9/11 intel from the CIA, that Bill Clinton and Bush Jr. had warnings about terrorists flying planes into buildings but did absolutely nothing to stop or mitigate the threat. Let there be no misunderstanding: the future of our Republic rests with the outcome of the midterm elections. Democrats will destroy us. Republicans will prevent future terrorism acts and should they occur, will extract a huge toll against those who would cause us harm. I’ve posted Bill’s article below. “It is noble that the United States honors the innocent victims as well as the first responders on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attack. But that nobility is not universally shared. The terror brigades directed by Iran are still operating, and that country continues to fund death and destruction.
Millions of people all over the world don’t really care. If they did, the Mullahs would have been vanquished a long time ago. Terror groups continue to kill at will, and once again the USA is almost alone trying to stop the murder. Yes, Israel and a few other countries are assisting us, but the global effort is weak.
The essential problem abroad is selfishness, and here in America apathy as well as politics. Many Americans oppose confronting Iran simply because Trump made the call.
Economic discomfort does not change that fact.
Also true is that the American people should demand an effective war plan, and here is where honest debate lies. But denying Iran is a threat is blatantly foolish, and we are seeing that from both liberals and isolationist conservatives.
Some European countries like Spain are so screwed up they would allow almost anything. Madrid fosters a cowardly government. Shameful. But real.
I remember doing verbal combat with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar on The View. They were backing an Imam who wanted to build a Mosque on the ruined 9/11 site. Preposterous. Inappropriate. Most Muslims are good people, but you don’t insult 9/11 families by doing that. The ladies walked off their own program. You might Google the display.
I suspect Ms. Goldberg and Ms. Behar would do the same thing today. Their worldview hasn’t changed very much, pardon the pun.
Neither has mine. You either stand against evil or it happens again. There is no place for Iran in this world. Watching the coverage of 9/11 should make that very clear. But still, we have dissent.
And we shouldn’t.”
