These days, most people see Memorial Day as the first 3 day weekend of the year. It would do well to consider that Memorial Day is just that, a time to reflect on those who have sacrificed and gave of their lives to keep freedom alive.
Honoring those who have gone on before us helps to keep perspective on what we do today. Time is fleeting and it is important to not put off telling those important to you that you love them and cherish them. All too quickly the little ones grow up and are on their own.
Take time today to reflect on where you are in your life circumstances and make sure to allow time for the important ones in your life.
