Deputy Sheriff Lester Dewayne Tatum, 42, of the Trinity County, Texas Sheriff’s Department was killed on Wednesday, December 28th as the result of a vehicle crash. Deputy Tatum was responding to a burglary in progress call at the time of the accident.
Deputy Tatum was the K-9 Officer for his department. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, parents and two grandchildren.
