Officer Memorial

Police Officer Gary J. Buro, 34, of the Chesterfield County, Virginia Police Department was shot and killed on May 4th when he and another officer responded to a domestic dispute.

Officer Buro had been with his department for 5 months. He had previously served with the New York City Police Department for 6 years and the Lantana, Florida Police Department for 5 years and served as a military police officer in the Marine Corps for 4 years. He is survived by his parents, brother, and a sister.
