Master Police Officer Michael E. Garbarino, 53, of the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department died of wounds suffered on Monday May 18th. He was injured when a suspect opened fire on him and other officers with an AK-47.
Officer Garbarino had served his agency for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, two children, parents and a brother.
