Officer Memorial

Senior Investigator Thomas M. O’Neill of the New York State Police died of a heart attack on July 7th, 2005 shortly after a struggle with a suspect. Investigator O’Neill had served with the New York State Police for 33 years.

Trooper Todd M. Larkins of the Tennessee Highway Patrol was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while conducting a vehicle stop. The semi veered off the roadway and struck Trooper Larkins, killing him instantly. Trooper Larkins had served the Tennessee Highway Patrol for five years. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
