Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Keith Carter, 22, of the Evangeline Parish, Louisiana Sheriff’s Department died on December 19, 2008 when he collapsed while involved in a foot pursuit of a suspect in a stolen car chase.
Deputy Carter had served law enforcement for 3 months. He is survived by his one year old daughter.
