Angry American -9/11

I’m an angry American….

Today, for about the 10,000th time since September 11, 2001, I heard some airhead commentator minimize what happened. He reminded me how we need to move on and look to the future.

The statement: “Those who fail to learn the lessons of the past are doomed to repeat them” comes to mind.

I’m tired hearing “experts” tell me what is good for me. I’m tired of “experts” telling me we need to move on.

I’ve embedded the following 9/11 remembrance. Watch it and remember. Just like we remember Pearl Harbor; just like we remember the Holocaust; just like we remember the genocide in Bosnia and Somalia.

Be angry. Make the commitment to never let this happen again. Do NOT be complacent. Do Not allow your focus to shift. The deaths on that day represent our family…we are all part of the Country. Don’t allow our elected officials to continue to pay the partisan game any more. Tell them you want them to get serious about terrorism. They need to do more than make us take our shoes off in airports. They need to develop the human intelligence we need to know who is out there so we can truly define the real threat. It’s not just Hamas or al Qaeda. It’s a movement that wants to eliminate our way of life.

Demand your elected officials pay the attention they need to this issue. It is no accident that our economy is in the tank. It is no surprise that morale and trust in our government is at an all time low. There is a reason why honorable men and women don’t aspire to government service any more.

If we do not turn this around soon, it may be too late. Call your elected officials today and DEMAND they take immediate action.
