A Flower By Any Other Name….

We went outside of our garage at home yesterday and spotted this lone Petunia growing up in a crack in the driveway. Consider how dry and warm it’s been lately. We suspect it is a seed from last year when we planted red, white and blue Petunias in a planter not too far away from this location.

Amongst all the ugliness of the pavement, a diamond in the rough so-to-speak, emerged. It’s amazing where good things turn up. It sure put a bright spot in my day. It’s a good lesson in perseverance and staying the course. Consider being a diamond in the rough. Volunteer for one of the many opportunities in your community!
