Sergeant Karl Strohsal, 58, of the Longwood, Florida Police department was struck and killed by an automobile on July 14, 2007.
Sergeant Strohsal had served his department for 18 years and 14 years prior to that with the New York City Police Department. Sergeant Strohsal is survived by his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren.
